Overflow Type

An overflow pool is also known as a deck level pool. The entire perimeter of the pool is surrounded by an overflow channel. The outflow in the overflow types of pools have a continuous weir extending around the full perimeter of the pool, designed to take in excess of 80% of their circulating water. The remaining 20% of the flow should take place from the drains provided in the deepest point of the pool

Advantages

• By providing the adequate number of evenly spaced fresh water inlets, the deck level overflow pools possess the highest standard of circulation that any other type of pool.

Limitations

• The cost of a separate balancing tank and the overflow channels may be termed as the only limitations in this scheme.
